GRABAAWR

Brokaw Hill - GRABAAWR 2000

The GReat Annual Bicycle Adventure Along the Wisconsin River starts out in the quiet northwoods of Wisconsin with rolling hills through the forests, heads into the flatter central sand area, and ends in the Driftless Area with scenic bluffs to view and ride. Roads are often winding along the Wisconsin River with great vistas.

Covered bridge - NTC 2001

In 2001, the Northwoods To Capitol tour started in the forests of central Wisconsin. This cool covered bridge was about 18 miles from Waupaca. There was a beautiful garden in the park along the river.

Lake Superior - NTC 2001

The 2001 Northwoods tour ended along the shores of Lake Superior. It was a beautiful day for riding with rolling hills. There was a gorgeous overlook to a harbor with lots of sailboats. Only one somewhat long hill after Washburn before a nice downhill into Bayfield.

Farm - Fox Valley Tour 2002

The Fox Valley Tour in east-central Wisconsin was a wonderful ride.  We were glad we took a chance going on a tour that was new to us and that we knew very little about.  The dorms made life easy, the roads were the quietest and most pleasant roads we have ridden on, and Dennis Northey (tour director) was a delight - he put together a great week for us.  This farm was west of Eden on the 2nd day.
